InnHouse Group of Companies Acquires Argus Carriers, Ltd.

InnHouse Group of Companies (“InnHouse”) today announced that it has acquired the shares of Argus Carriers, Ltd (“Argus”).   Founded in 1948, Argus is a Burnaby, BC-based transportation and logistics company providing delivery services throughout British Columbia and Washington State with satellite terminals in Kelowna, Nanaimo and Victoria.  In addition to being an agent for large national carriers, Argus serves a diverse customer base carrying dry freight throughout the region. Argus offers expedited cartage within Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, and daily LTL deliveries to Vancouver Island, BC Interior, and the Pacific Northwest United States. High Point Celebrating Earth Day April 25, 2016

VANCOUVER – April 25, 2016 –  This year at High Point we decided to make April our Earth Month by bringing awareness to different earth initiatives in our industry and to give back to our earth and our community. Throughout this month, all the product tastings held in the store have been either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. We also opened up Sunday afternoons to take unlimited empty returns, but our favorite initiative was participating in the Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up this past Saturday. Every year, tens of thousands of Canadians participate in this clean up initiative..… This year there were 5 more! Our assigned shoreline clean-up was at New Brighton Park, just down the road from us. The weather wasn’t the greatest, it was a little overcast and drizzling, but our spirits were bright! On February 25, 2014, more than 1,200 guests were treated to a unique Night Patrol experience in support of essential policing services and community outreach programs at the sold-out Vancouver Police Foundation Night Patrol Gala held at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Premier Christy Clark, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson and singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan joined VPD Chief Jim Chu, along with a list of the city’s most philanthropic and illustrious personalities.
