On November 30th, BC Business held the 9th Annual “Best Companies to Work for in BC” gala at

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. There were over 600 people who attended the awards, and more

than 100 companies that took part from across British Columbia. The awards were mostly

broken-out by industry sectors, which made for some good competition throughout the night.

The Best Companies to Work For in BC program is an employee rated program – meaning the

employees rate the company anonymously via a survey, and provide feedback to BC Business

about the benefit programs, employee bonuses and perks and why the company they work at is

one of the best in BC. The Lonsdale Quay Hotel ranked 4th in its respective category. Cactus

Club Café placed 1st.
