InnHouse Licensed Retail Concepts (iLRC) announces the sale of Granville Street Liquor Store to John Kettlewell, owner of Moonrakers Pub & Liquor Store (as well as others) in New Westminster. iLRC purchased the Licensed Retail Store (LRS) license and developed the store in 2005. Under the leadership of Salim Karim, the store developed a loyal customer base and experienced strong revenue/profit growth.

The sale allowed John the opening to meet his objective of expanding his family business, and provides iLRC with the opportunity to realize on a successful investment and re-deploy the capital into new opportunities.

“The sale of our interest in Granville Street comes with mixed emotions”, stated iLRC CEO Salim Karim. “On the one hand it’s always nice to realize on a successful investment, especially when we can help a friend meet his objectives. On the other hand, we’ll miss our involvement in Granville Street and the South Granville market”.

iLRC continues to own and operate successful private liquor stores in British Columbia and believes in the future stability and grown in the industry.
